    Iron Smoke is an artisan crafted small batch whiskey distiller based in Fairport, NY.

Complemar Print is FSC Certified

FSC Logo

FSC stands for Forest Stewardship Council whose mission is to promote environmentally sound, socially beneficial and economically prosperous management of the world’s forests. FSC certification ensures that products come from responsibly managed forests that provide environmental, social and economic benefits. Between the forest and the final user, products may undergo many stages of processing, manufacturing and distribution.

FSC Chain-of-Custody certification traces the path of products from forests through the supply chain, verifying that FSC-certified material is identified or kept separated from non-certified material throughout the chain. The Chain-of-Custody process ensures the consumer that the FSC-certified products they purchase are coming from responsibly managed sources.

All of the paper we buy at Complemar Print is either FSC or SFI certified. However, many companies request that the FSC logo be added to their brochure. In order to do this, we must follow the chain of custody which ensures that the purchased paper has followed the path from responsibly managed forests. However the paper that is used with an FSC logo attached is the same paper that is FSC certified and used on a day to day basis. We just do not have to follow the paperwork trail requirements.
